Paulinea Brami lives and works in the Fontainebleau area, France. She paints mutations and unstable cohabitations. Fragments of nature and invented signs become elements of a pictorial language that seeks not to represent but to transmute. Her canvases unfold as psychic ecosystems, thresholds where the organic shifts into the symbolic and invisible memory resurfaces. Inspired by threshold territories such as Iceland and the Fontainebleau Forest, she places her works like lanterns or incantations, awakening subterranean presences.
